What is No More Room in Hell 2?
No More Room in Hell 2 (NMRIH 2) is an intense 8-player zombie shooter built in Unreal Engine 5 by Torn Banner Studios. You and your squad fight through objective maps against endless undead, managing scarce ammo, a brutal infection system, and permanent death for your responder.
The game entered Early Access on October 22, 2024 and fully launched with the Armageddon (1.0) update on August 10, 2026 - adding a Survival mode, Solo mode, the new Raven Rock map, and a complete economy overhaul.

Is No More Room in Hell 2 still in development?
No - it's fully released. After nearly 2 years and 16 content updates in Early Access, the game launched its 1.0 'Armageddon' version on August 10, 2026, and the team continues shipping updates.
Is No More Room in Hell 1 better than 2?
The original 2011 Half-Life mod (and its 2013 standalone) is free and slower-paced; NMRIH 2 is a modern Unreal Engine 5 co-op shooter with permadeath, infection and progression. Most new players should start with 2 - and the original stays free if you want the classic.
Can you play No More Room in Hell 2 single player?
Yes. The 1.0 update added a dedicated Solo Mode with no permadeath risk - a sandbox for learning maps and testing builds. Normal matchmaking supports up to 8 players.
Is No More Room in Hell still active?
